BRUNSWICK LAUNDRY
A hardworking space, designed to quietly disappear
Brunswick Laundry marks the first stage in Billy and Peter's ongoing transformation of their home. Though small in scale, the project demonstrates how even the most practical spaces can contribute to the overall experience of living in a home.
Positioned between the living area, bathroom and water closet, the laundry needed to work hard while feeling connected to the surrounding spaces. Deep green joinery, soft lighting and smoky mirrored surfaces create a calm and cohesive room, while integrated storage and perforated cabinetry support the everyday demands of life.
Within its compact footprint, the laundry brings together practicality and character. What could have been a purely functional space instead feels considered, welcoming and firmly connected to the home around it, proving that even the most utilitarian rooms deserve attention and care.
"Working with Alex was incredibly easy. We had direct, open communication throughout the project, and we knew no job would be too small or too complex. Alex brought ideas we hadn't thought of, and the final result exceeded our expectations." - Billy and Peter
